Enterprise Centre receives the full ‘siptel treatment’

A large, purpose-built Enterprise business centre had a wide variety of businesses and tenants, with over 500 individual users. The main challenges that they faced with their existing telecoms solution were the arduous waiting times for monthly reports, moves adds and systems changes from Telewest and the sheer expense of the Telewest Centrix service, which was costing in the region of £10-£15 per line, per month.

The Business Centre Manager had the task of choosing the most appropriate supplier to provide a new solution. After putting out a request for proposal, he had no hesitation in choosing siptel to present them with an individually tailored telecoms solution. The key requirements from a new and improved telecommunications package were to facilitate a complex, feature-rich solution to cater for all the tenants’ varying needs and to have a comprehensive Call Logging function in place, crucial for billing purposes for each individual tenant.

siptel rose to the challenge and used their experience and expertise to meet the specific needs of a busy and successful business centre, by implementing the Avaya Communications S8700 Media Server. Now the tenants at the Enterprise Centre can run real time reports without having to wait for historical data and also have a quick and efficient online administration system, ensuring that all of their communications are fully integrated.

After the installation, the Business Centre Manager said, “siptel have provided us with a highly complementary, feature-rich solution including: voicemail, logging in and out hot-desking facilities and the ability for us to do Moves, Adds and Changes very quickly and efficiently. All of the tenants are delighted with the new technology as they are now able to take control of their own telecommunication needs, which in turn has given me happy customers!
